Being a counselor at Youth Camp awesome! It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of this team! We have a great team that fills up every year -- therefore this is the first step in the approval process. Your application will be reviewed by the director for the camp. You must be approved to attend camp.
We try to keep a tight budget to keep the the cost low for campers, so we ask you or your church to share the load by footing the bill for the raw cost of some adults.
We budget one counselor for every eight campers. To that end, each church sending a counselor that will be responsible for follow up with campers will be granted one adult for every 6 campers. We also budget for a few folks that preplan camp. We ask all these adult to pay for their own background check with $25.
Many churches want to send more adults and we are glad to accommodate! For additional adults, or adults coming from churches that will not be sending 6 campers, we ask the adults or churches to cover the raw cost of an adult at camp of $250.
If you are interested, please fill out the application and pay the minimum deposit of $25. If you are applying for multiple camps, we will wave the $25 deposit for each additional camp. This is an application process. The camp director makes the final decision on the adults at camp.
If for whatever reason you will not be attending camp with us you will receive a full refund of whatever you paid.
